What if your condition was happening for you instead of to you?
Avoid naming and giving energy to your, or a loved one's, diagnosis.
Examples of giving energy to it are saying things like: “oh, you got this”, “I’m so sorry about that”, “I didn’t know you had this condition, that’s so tough”. These phrases just strengthen the hold of that particular challenge, because it tells everybody around you and the person you’re talking to, “this is real and this is really hard and this is really heavy and you have a long road ahead”.
What if it was different? We live in a quantum universe. Meaning, anything can shift on a dime. So remember the power of every thought, word, and action being a step toward that healing or toward keeping that situation in place or deepening its roots.
You can help people, including yourself, step toward the healing process by avoiding all of the typical society things like talking about your diagnosis, naming it, and creating all this action around it. Instead, just see it as what it is. It’s just a condition, and if it’s a big one, it’s a big lesson coming through. It’s something huge happening for that person’s life or for your life. Let’s start looking at it, and let’s see what it could be.
